In advance: This bike is nominated for the Designpreis Deutschland (German Design Award) 2011 – among other things a result of complete re-engineering! The latter was obligatory anyway after the official change of technological UCI standards for such competition machines.

Also our new Overdrive Carbon has turned out well – with even more impressive performance and powerful aesthetics! But the most important feature still remains: The Modular Head defines the Overdrive as truly universal TT machine. Eventually, it is crucial if a race against the clock only runs over 5 km (e. g. a Tour de France prologue) while the pilot actually “ducks against the wind”. In this case, the stretched aero position becomes uncomfortable only beyond the finishing line. Distinctly different: The 180 km solo runs which are characteristic for long-distance Triathlons – making minimum comfort indispensable!

Our solution is the possibility to extend your Overdrive Carbon’s head tube as and when required. Three options enable adaption to your current training level or to the question if drafting is (not) allowed during your next competition: Two system modules (+20/+40 mm) can be combined seamlessly with the head-set. The respective raise of the handlebar works without any spacers and, therefore, does not affect steering stability! Further features: High-profile rims, carbon fork, internal cable routing and a brake hiding behind an ultra-stiff BB. So our new Overdrive version is systematically designed to “shred” routes, seconds and the finishing times of your competitors in a most pleasurable way!
