City Speed

Simply a wheelset. In between a frame radiating timeless elegance. Plus a linear handlebar which allows a constant racing line also along narrow passages and exterior rear view mirrors.

“As basic as possible” could be quite the design idea behind our City Speed. But this would be – exactly: Too simple! Because especially the omission of components which virtually define other bikes means that all remaining elements must offer maximum quality and consistency. Thus, foregoing a rear derailleur does not automatically result in reduced transmission variety: A nearly invisible Nexus drivetrain inside the rear hub provides our City Speed with eight comfortable gears. There is also a “one-gear version” for all ascetically-minded purists – the hub can even be turned into a “fixie”.

There seem to be a lot of such riders – otherwise, our City Speed would not be that popular. But first of all, these premium bikes are brilliant companions for short and medium distances – without any “dress code”, without pressure to pedal in an ultra-fit or even indefinably “cool” way. Very “urban”, if you know what we mean…
