Cross Speed
|
Even swifter? – Of course, as you are reading the CENTURION catalogue 2011! Please imagine: A Cross Line’s tire width is slightly reduced once more, the fork has no suspension and the complete bike becomes perceptibly lighter. This brings us straight to the exclusive range of our shapely Cross Speed bikes delighting in three versions. Two of them are also available as lady-specific models. So why not choose a genuine road racer? A road handlebar feels uncomfortable for some riders – it involves a stretched posture which is rather exhausting over long distances while keeping the pilot’s head position mostly low. Thus, you might favour the flat Cross Speed handlebar with its newly developed grips. Others prefer the enhanced riding comfort offered by the fast crosser’s comparatively bigger tire volume. Remember: A real road racer’s particular application area is smooth fresh asphalt – and therefore limited to some degree. |
The list of accessories reveals that thoroughbred road frames do not feature braze-on bosses (e. g. for rack mounting) – in contrast to our Cross Speed! Thus, all those loving long-distance and small-luggage summer tours without an escort vehicle might choose a Cross Speed right from the start and might, at best, replace the handlebar if required… Finally, also aesthetes are not forgotten: Look at these bikes with their new design, gracile shapes and reduced, classy configuration – aren’t they beautiful? |
