Michael Goehner will surely remember 2009 with great delight and for a long time: In 7:55:53 h, he became German Long-Distance Triathlon Champion then – last but not least thanks to his unbelievably fast CENTURION OVERDRIVE which allowed him stepwise compensation of his swimming-generated time loss. In the next year, the ambitious Swabian triathlete was not able to repeat his success: He had to finish his 2010 season ahead of schedule due to a necessary foot surgery. Nevertheless, it’s clear to CENTURION: The banker from Reutlingen (Germany) will absolve also his future competitions on our OVERDRIVE! So at the beginning of his life’s third decade, Michael Goehner has explicitly defined ambitious personal objectives: He wants to demonstrate a perfect performance at legendary Ironman Hawaii. The world’s most important Triathlon event has new qualifying rules now. This means collecting points already early this year! Thus Goehner is going to absolve his first “70.3” competition (exactly 70.3 miles or half Ironman distance) already in January: Until this event in East London (Eastern Cape, South Africa), he aims at a perfect training level. Further races over the same distance and “complete Ironmen” are planned as well. “Of course, my schedule includes also German events” – thus Goehner’s German fans will not be left empty-handed! On June 5, the CENTURION-sponsored athlete is going to participate definitely in the “Challenge Kraichgau” (northeast of Karlsruhe). His companion: The CENTURION OVERDRIVE version which has been redesigned according to the latest UCI rule update already in its second model year – with a lot of potential to collect all necessary points for the season’s highlight around the Triathlon mekka Kona on Hawaii!
