Within the bike scene, our Overdrive is known as sensationally swift Triathlon machine – at the latest since it demonstrates a truly unbelievable performance as “working equipment” of triathlete Michael Goehner who is sponsored by CENTURION: At the renowned Roth Challenge 2009 (Bavaria, Germany), our Overdrive dominated the competition and catapulted Goehner in 7:55:53 h to his celebrated 1st Rank.

For 2011, the Overdrive was redesigned completely after latest UCI standards. So its still swift performance is as amazing as the new appearance – as confirmed by design experts: The fastest CENTURION bike has already been nominated for the Designpreis der Bundesrepublik Deutschland (one of Germany’s most sought-after awards) which represents highest honours for developers! 

In addition, our outstanding Overdrive does not only fascinate professional triathletes but also ambitious TT specialists – although these different bike disciplines are as far apart as downhill and XC racing. This is enabled by our R&D department’s patent-pending innovation: The sophisticated “Modular Head” with unimagined possibilities to adapt the Overdrive’s geometry. The latter can be varied between an extremely low-positioned handlebar for optimum “aerodynamic ducking” against the headwind and a reasonably upright position for ultra-long distances. Some riders might say, “No problem: Let’s raise the stem with the aid of spacers!” Then the CENTURION R&D experts will answer, “Ok, please calculate your control centre’s reduced stiffness due to the longer leverage!” And will explain the convincing advantages of the well-thought-out “Modular Head” concept then: Thanks to special modules, our Overdrive’s head tube section can be extended effectively and individually by 20 or even 40 mm – while head tube stiffness is actually enhanced! Simultaneously, you are able to adapt your seating position accordingly to achieve an always coherent geometry.

No matter if you desire to start your bike season with a slightly more upright body posture or if your respective bike discipline’s formalities allow drafting and therefore a less extreme aero position: In one single bike, “Modular Head” offers all imaginable possibilities for triathletes and TT specialists. “Just besides” this elegant characteristic, our Overdrive design also represents optimum aerodynamics: It consists of a cutting-edge carbon fibre mix and includes completely internal cable routing as well as a rear brake hiding behind a special spoiler underneath the BB section.
