E-Co

What pushes you forward with the powerful support of 250 W? What can be adjusted precisely via four riding modes – each with three performance levels? What features a cleverly positioned mid-engine and a stable, quickly rechargeable accumulator – both brilliantly integrated into a rugged and beautiful frame design? Right: The e-bike Electric Fire that has been a technological highlight of the CENTURION product range since Season 2011. New for 2012: Besides the established 8-speed gear hub or 10-speed derailleur system, a stepless NuVinci gear box manages the choice of the best possible transmission ratio – another step towards modern urban mobility! |
But not all city or tour riders in favour of e-support want to get on or off the bike by lifting their leg highly above the saddle. Some might even fear unsafe ground contact at red traffic lights. Voilá: From 2012, our model E-Co satisfies the wish for a low crossbar and thus all those who so far have rejected e-biking due to the high top tube. The latter has been – let’s be honest – general standard until now. All ten (!) Electric Fire and E-Co versions still feature the well-proven power train that is supplied by Swabian electronics specialist Bosch. The mix of powerful engine, high-performance accumulator and intuitively operable HMI (“Human Machine Interface”) was unbelievably successful already during the debut season. So successful that we would have to decide deliberately against an outstanding configuration if we turned towards another version. But for CENTURION, that would be a premiere… |
