Long gone are the days when cycling still was a male domain and science discovered the principle of cell division. Since then, evolution has absolved countless steps: Today’s ladies – who obviously enjoy sportive cycling more and more – are far from being “outdated”. Instead, it could be said that they pedal in a very up-to-date way. Of course in terms of fashion, but also with respect to technology. Not least because CENTURION has been promoting the creation of sportive two-wheelers for sportive ladies over several years now. Most important: These lady bikes are as “good” as models designed for men. A big difference between now and the past!

Apart from that, the differences are rather small – almost like in real life. Small but notable.

So our Eve frames are slightly shorter to provide considerably more seating comfort: More comfortable cycling means that especially longer distances can be mastered with greater ease and fun. Our Eve frames are also available in smaller sizes – and with narrower handlebars that match a female’s comparatively daintier physique. Compared to many men, women generally have slimmer shoulders and hands. That’s why the grips at the ends of the narrower handlebars are slightly slimmer as well. Really ergonomic! But most important are the saddles which are specifically adapted to the anatomically larger space between the female “sitting bones”. Finally an adequate and – first of all – pain-free seating position!
