Team Steinlach-Wiesaz

Schools and clubs ‒ two institutions that are usually hardly compatible. How useful can cooperation between these two be? It has been shown since 1987, by the team Steinlach-Purification Steinlach. It currently comprises about 40 mountain bikers, between eight and 28 years of age, who train together, learn from each other ‒ and demonstrate to third parties the value of sports in today's society. Values are being directly conveyed; young people come into contact with nature, experience their own limits and learn to surpass them. With success: Director Dieter Brenzel and his charges have already managed to get many prizes at local and regional level and, only recently, Heike Hundertmark and Miriam Wolf from Gomaringen won the women's division of the difficult five-day race called "Trans Black Forest". We, here at CENTURION, share the committed group’s philosophy and are pleased to support them.
