What an amazing day! Blue clear skies, perfect temperature and no rain at all. So please imagine: Around you a real biking Eldorado while you have some time left for cycling! There are challenging off-road trails as well as fresh asphalt which could be “overflown” on a gracile and light-weight road bike. Now it’s completely up to you. While your breakfast coffee is getting ready in the morning, you come to the conclusion that you don’t want to share your individual dream route with annoying cars on such a great day. On the other hand, close to nature does not necessarily mean that you want to know each and every root’s given name. And anyway: The thought of “flying over” swiftly would be really charming…

Then this will probably be a CENTURION Cross Line day! Our Cross Line models represent a kind of “missing link” between road machines and MTBs. They combine the best of both worlds: The elegant gliding of a road bike with an MTB’s off-road capability. This is already shown by the frame which seems to be derived from a road bike while the bottom bracket offers comparatively more ground clearance. But the handlebar is flat, the seating position slightly more upright than in the case of speed-orientated road racers. The 28” wheels have road bike dimensions but are equipped with broader tires (approx. 35 mm) which master every forest or farm track. All bikes of our Cross Line series also feature a suspension fork. Apart from that, they are composed very differently – for nearly every imaginable application!
